6th Sunday of Ordinary Time A
Communion Reflection
Lord Jesus, begin a new work of love within me. Instill in me a greater love and respect for your commandments. Give me a burning desire to live a life of holiness and righteousness. Purify my thoughts, desires, and intentions that I may only desire what is pleasing to you and in accord with your will.

VOTIVE CANDLES:
What is the purpose of votive candles?
Burning votive candles are a common sight in most Catholic churches. These candles are seen as an offering that indicates we are seeking some favour from the Lord or the saint before which the votive is placed. It is not necessary to light more than three candles. God knows our intentions and the favours we are seeking. Be considerate of the needs of your fellow parishioners. Cost of candles is R 2.50 each.
